Annual Program

March/April
SYSTEMIC APPLICATION
Granular insecticide is applied to the soil and is absorbed by the plant roots. It also controls lacebugs, leaf miners and many other hard-to-control insects on birch trees, hollies, azalea and andromeda.


March/April
DORMANT OIL SPRAY
A non-toxic, water soluble oil that smothers insects before they become a problem. It controls a wide range of pests including aphids, mites, scale and mealybugs.

May and June
FOLIAGE SPRAYS
This includes our special Gypsy Moth Spray Program. These foliage sprays are scheduled throughout MayJune to control not only Gypsy Moths but other leaf chewing insects as well.

July/August
APHID & SPIDER MITE SPRAY
Acts on contact to kill aphids and spider mites which drain essential nutrients from foliage and retard tree growth.

SPECIALIZED SPRAY SERVICE
There are many tree problems which can be solved with well-timed, single purpose sprays. for example, "wilt proofing" in late fall for evergreens, and special protection for fruit trees. These and other specialized sprays are available from Conserv-a-Tree.
